Hi, my name is Cameron Mergel and this is my blog.  My main goal of this blog is to keep a journal of my journey in the technical field, computers, SQL Server, and in life.

I am a database professional currently living and working in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I work for a company that manufacturers high performance lighting, electrical power, and automated test systems for the global aerospace and defense industries.  I have been working with SQL Server since 6.5 and in a DBA capacity for the last 5 years.

I also love Windows Tablets and I tend to blog a lot about them.

I am a husband of 19 years to a wonderful wife and a father of two amazing kids.
