Windows 10 Technical Preview (10/1)

Microsoft announced today during their Live event that they will be releasing a technical preview of Windows 10 tomorrow, October 1st.  Yes, they are skipping right over Windows 9.  I guess they want to get as far away from Windows 8 as possible and skipping a version may work.

Update to DisplayLink software (7.7 M0)

DisplayLink just released an updated driver dated September 29th, 2014.  This is supported drivers for the Lenovo ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock (here) and USB Display.

Happy Windows 9 Threshold Announcement Day

Microsoft will announce the next version of Windows today in San Francisco, CA around 10 a.m. (PT).  There is no online event, so you will have to go to one of the major review sites to view their live blogging.

I am really hoping that Microsoft also announces the release of a technical preview as well.
