    Dear Cameron,
Afther replace my 32Gb by the Mushkin Atlas 240GB mSATA SSD and upgrade to Windows 8, these are the classification specs at my ASUS B121:
    PROCESSOR: 5,0
    MEMORY (RAM): 5,0
    GRAPHICS: 2,4 ????
    GRAPHICS 3D GAMES: 3,1 ????
PRIMARY HARD DISK: 7,6 (Mushkin Atlas)

    LOWEST SCORE: 2,4

Is it possible to compare these specs with your B121/Windows8 specs.
I think the graphics figures in my device are rather low.

Mayby the drivers are not correct?

    Best regards,

    Theo

      Theo,

That seems way low. The hardware in the EP121 & B121 should be very close to the same.
      These are mine.

      PROCESSOR: 5.6
      MEMORY (RAM): 5.6
      GRAPHICS: 3.3
      GRAPHICS 3D GAMES: 4.6
PRIMARY HARD DISK: 7.4 (OCZ 120GB SSD)
      WEI: 3.3

Make sure that you have your power option set to High Performance.
Also, what version of the Graphics Drivers are you on
      I am on 8.15.10.2858 (10/9/2012)

Upgraded from my slate 500 to the ASUS Eee Slate B121, can’t wait for it to turn up. Hopefully the drivers for Windows 8 will work perfectly! My slate 500 is unusable unless i run calibration tool each and every logon… and to logon i need to fight the ghost taps to complete my picture password!

    Thanks Ntrig and HP.

You are going to like the ASUS B121. It is a great device and the Wacom drivers just work. 🙂

I brought the ASUS Eee Slate B121 for AU$555.00, i think this price was pretty cheap for a refurbished unit. Retail stores are asking AU$1,200.00.

      You got a great deal.

Any ideas on battery packs or replacements to improve battery life? I can’t find anything on Dr. Google that is slim or may fit in the case or leather cover.

I have xpal battery back with a tip for the Asus B121. Works great infact it is the same tip for the samsung series 7 slate. Works fantastic. It charges as well as powers the slate. It recently took it to a conference and charged it it during lunch break and was good to go. Also it is a little larger than a WD Passport drive (2.5), so the size works great.

      XPAL XP18000

It is powerful enough to power laptops as well.
ASUS B121 Tip is: AB23 (extra tip that you have to order, you just pay s/h (under 2 bucks)

Ordered, the tablet is useless with only 2-3hr battery life. Hopefully the XP18000 will provide 5-6hrs.
